1. Answer the questions on the application truthfully.
2. Read the lease. Ask questions. Learn and comply with the terms of your lease agreement.
3. Don’t damage the property or allow visitors or guests to damage the property.
4. Keep your rental property clean. Dispose of garbage regularly and properly.
5. Submit requests to your property manager or landlord in writing to avoid disputes and misunderstandings. Keep copies for your records.
6. Notify your property manager in writing when repairs are needed. Don’t wait several days or weeks to report problems or request repairs.
7. Allow your property manager access to your rental property for inspections, safety or maintenance reasons, when required advance notice has been given.
8. Keep noise levels to a minimum.
9. Purchase renter's insurance to cover your personal property in the event of loss. The owner’s insurance may not cover tenant’s possessions. The management company is not responsible for damage to or loss of tenant’s possessions.
10. Give proper advance notice to your landlord about your intentions to vacate the property. Review the terms of the lease that cover move-out or vacating the property.
